Is it Possible to do Dynamic Filtering Across Widgets?

Problem:
Is it possible to do dynamic filtering across widgets where a selection on one widget acts as a filter data frame for other widgets to update the values. For example if widget one has 3 categorical data points, I select the 2nd category and based on that the rest of my 4 widgets display the data for that the category 2 only.
