Including another country on a map with the US

Problem:

My project involves a U.S. Map – that also includes Haiti.
Is there a way to include that with the other U.S. States? Perhaps overlay 2 maps and use the "ignore" attribute?

Solution:
If you're looking for USA map with neighboring countries like Haiti without showing the states, this would be a good demo i.e. draw would countries and include NORTHAMERICA group only. If you want to include Haiti and also show details of the other USA states, then this would be a good demo. In the second approach, zooming doesn't work with a feature (bounding box) that supports these kinds of maps. Unfortunately, we always have to turn off the zooming.
