ZingGrid: How does licensing work in ZingGrid?

Domain Server

We have a domain/license server that will manage your domains. The licensing lifecycle works in the following capacity:

  1. The logo is hidden by default. This ensures there is no penalty of a flashing logo for you or your users.
  2. We ping the server and see if you have a license. If you don't have a license the watermark is added. If the server is down or you have a license there is no noticeable penalty.

If you need a local license, one that does not ping a server, please contact sales@zingsoft.com to inquiry about purchasing. You will need to buy a perpetual, one time fee, license that will forever.
